Pyrolysis
Pyrolysis is a thermo-chemical material conversion process in which organic compounds are split in oxygen-free atmospheres and at high temperatures. Examples of pyrolysis are the conversion of biomass into fuels and the coking of coal.
Process management decisive
Pyrolysis requires oxygen-free atmospheres and defined temperatures. Automated process control enables your pyrolysis process to run safely, whether in a continuous process with a rotary kiln or in a batch process with a cold-wall or retort kiln. Due to the oxygen-free material conversion, technical afterburning is usually necessary.
Vacuum and process gas furnace for your thermal conversion of materials
The industrial furnaces and laboratory furnaces of IBT Thermoprozesstechnik cover these pyrolysis processes with a high degree of flexibility. We will be happy to advise you on your process.
