IBT GmbH, Vacuum furnace and protective gas furnace

Hydrogen production/ hydrogen generation

Hydrogen production refers to the thermo-chemical conversion of materials such as natural gas, other hydrocarbons, biomass and water into molecular hydrogen. Typical processes are steam reforming, partial oxidation and autothermal reforming.

Process management decisive

Process gas atmospheres and defined temperatures are required for hydrogen production. Automated process control enables your conversion process to run safely, whether in a continuous process with a rotary kiln or in a batch process with a cold-wall or retort kiln. When using oxygen-free atmospheres, technical afterburning is usually necessary.

Vacuum and process gas furnace for your thermal conversion of materials

The industrial furnaces and laboratory furnaces of IBT Thermprocess cover these processes of hydrogen production with a high degree of flexibility. We will be happy to advise you on your process.
