Tempering tables for the post processing of CFRP body components
For a German automobile manufacturer we have developed, designed, manufactured and assembled an infrared solution for tempering of CFRP body components. Our service also included the commissioning, modification and training of staff.
The solution includes the implementation of control and positionable infrared modules. This allows annealing more points on a component at the same time. A central control unit for all 6 modules is included directly in the workspace. The developed kinematics allows the flexible use of tempering units depending on the CFRP component geometry. The measurement of the surface temperatures of the components takes place contactless by means of specially adjusted pyrometer. Our solution ensures high energy efficiency according to an optimum energy transmission from the emitter to the component and it saves time and production costs by the parallel running annealing process.
