Infrared heating plant for die-cast aluminum housing

For an engineering office, the company IBT has developed and manufactured an infrared heating plant for die-cast aluminum housing for subsequent applying of a sealing bead. The plant is designed for a double-sided heating of the medium from above and below. Additionally, the system includes an extensive MSR technology with archiving, reporting system to process control system as well as ‘not ok’/’ok’ Messages.

Responsive light heaters of the KIR-line were used here for a rapid heating. The measurement of the surface temperatures of the components takes place contactless by means of specially adjusted pyrometer.A reduction of the energy losses and thus high energy efficiency will be reached by the use of reflectors.
