Heating system for the bonding of fleece pads without welding edge for textile car mats
For the bonding of fleece pads without welding edges, the company IBT has developed an infrared unit which has been integrated into a first prototype system. The heating system consists of 2 infrared modules with short-waved KIR-heaters. Rear installed reflectors provide an increase in energy efficiency by reducing energy losses. The turnkey unit could quickly be integrated into the overall plant. In close coordination with TOSS – the commissioned manufacturer of special-purpose machines – the optimal control and regulation components has been designed, selected and integrated.
Due to the high power density of the KIR-line, short cycle times are achieved (rapid heating up and continuous keeping of the target temperature for a short period). The measurement of the material temperature occurs contactless via an application adjusted pyrometer.
