Continuous flow system for the heating of technical textiles (textile tape)

This continuous flow system for the heating of technical textiles (textile tape) is integrated as part manufacturing step of a complete production line. This continuous flow system consists of 3 separately adjustable heating zones, equipped with 7 STIR® heaters type SIP. Rear installed reflectors ensure an increase in energy efficiency by reducing energy losses.

For adaptation to the respective process conditions (bandwidth, throughput speed) the infrared heaters with aluminium profiles are variably arranged.The position of the desired product temperature and the regulation according the ACTUAL temperature of the material are possible by the control.The measurement of the textile tape temperature occurs contactless by means of pyrometer. A safety switching off is performed when a permitted temperature limit is reached.
